Job summary

TYG is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Superintendent to oversee the installation of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems on complex commercial construction projects. This role focuses on safe, high-quality execution while maintaining schedule and productivity.

The successful candidate will supervise daily field operations, coordinate installations, lead field crews and trade partners, and work closely with project management and engineering teams to keep look-ahead schedules and project planning on

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent or Foreman experience with a mechanical contractor.
• Strong HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge.
• Experience on commercial, healthcare, industrial, advanced manufacturing or mission critical projects.
• Ability to lead large field teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Experience with commissioning and turnover processes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field operations for mechanical construction activities.
• Coordinate installation of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems.
• Lead field crews, subcontractors and trade partners.
• Plan daily work activities and manpower requirements.
• Monitor productivity, quality and safety performance.
• Coordinate inspections, startup and commissioning activities.
• Resolve field issues quickly and efficiently.
• Work closely with Project Management and engineering teams.
• Maintain look-ahead schedules and support project planning.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
