Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of mechanical design/analysis experience.
• 5+ years developing manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and 3D CAD.
• Experience with GD&T and structural analysis.
• Experience owning complex components from design to production.
• Knowledge of manufacturability and various production equipment.
• Strong communication and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design structures and ground systems for launch and control of flight vehicles.
• Own design through manufacturing process, including analysis and validation.
• Co-develop product requirements through trade studies.
• Create detailed models and engineering drawings in SOLIDWORKS.
• Conduct testing and iteration to ensure reliability across environments.
• Develop manufacturing processes for high-rate, high-yield production.
• Manage product lifecycle from sourcing to final assembly and integration.
• Coordinate with partner teams for optimized in-house manufacturing line.
