Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP seeks a Mechanical Specialist at our Dillsboro, IN Compressor Station. The role focuses on operation, maintenance, and repair of reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, engines, turbines, and associated equipment in compliance with DOT and OSHA standards.

Qualified candidates will have extensive mechanical experience with natural gas equipment, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work rotating shifts, and reside within 30 miles of the facility.

Qualifications

• Progressive, hands-on mechanical experience with natural gas engines and compressor equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge of 2- and 4-stroke, slow and high-speed engines and compressors.
• Experience with gas turbines.
• Excellent communication and strong problem-solving abilities; capable of prioritizing multiple projects.
• Microsoft Word/Excel and CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and lead repairs and maintenance of natural gas engines, turbines, and compressors.
• Ensure OMS database compliance and routine maintenance tasks.
• Monitor flows and operating conditions in assigned area.
• Respond to emergencies and support at other compressor stations as needed.
