Job summary

ŌURA is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead mechanical sourcing for NPI and sustaining programs, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance and Legal to enable production readiness and cost/performance optimization.

This hybrid role requires 2-3 days per week in our San Francisco office, with travel ~25% domestically and internationally to support supplier alignment and ramp readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in consumer electronics or supply chain with mechanical sourcing.
• Experience with CNC, injection molding, stamping, MIM, surface finishing.
• Ability to lead complex programs with tight timelines.
• Proven negotiations across cost, tooling/NRE, contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical sourcing for NPI and sustaining programs.
• Conduct supplier selection, RFx and award recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing, tooling, terms and lead times.
• Collaborate with Engineering for DFM and risk mitigation.
• Onboard suppliers, perform capability audits and readiness reviews.
• Maintain supplier performance via KPIs and reviews.
• Develop should-cost models and benchmarking.
