Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Mechanical Revit Technician to lead BIM for data center projects,Developing coordinated HVAC and hydronic designs. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver constructible, high-quality solutions.

The role requires strong Revit proficiency, data center experience, and a collaborative, fast-paced project environment with hybrid work options across Jacobs offices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mechanical design on complex facility projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows.
• Experience preparing construction documents for HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Strong coordination with multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit/BIM models for complex mechanical systems on data center projects.
• Prepare detailed design and construction documents for HVAC, chilled water, and piping systems.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Mentor junior designers and BIM staff.
• Support RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications during construction.
• Contribute to BIM standards and best practices development.
