Job summary

Gore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Reliability and Test Development Engineer to support new product development of implantable cardiovascular devices. You will apply engineering, statistics, and durability testing to ensure product reliability and regulatory readiness.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid work option, the role collaborates across engineering teams, translates in vivo conditions to bench tests, and drives root-cause analysis and documentation for submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience with hands on mechanical testing and investigating observations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop durability evaluation strategy and testing rationales.
• Collaborate with product development and internal teams.
• Translate in vivo use conditions to bench top conditions.
• Support regulatory submissions with protocols and reports.
• Drive root cause analysis of test observations.
• Update project timelines and manage risk related to durability.
