Job summary

Cheniere Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior/Staff Engineer, Electrical Reliability to serve as the technical lever for electrical systems and reliability programs at the LNG facility.

You will support maintenance, drive improvements, and ensure safe, reliable operation of 120 VAC to 13.8 kV systems, including switchgear, gensets, and UPS. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of industrial experience, with LNG or hydrocarbon processing exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of five (5)+ years of relevant experience in an industrial setting in engineering, operations, maintenance or other related technical function.
• Experience in LNG facility or hydrocarbon processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily electrical systems support to the plant to keep systems operational.
• Lead documentation updates for unit operating manuals and participate in Management of Change.
• Mentor and guide I/E Supervision and Technicians on electrical reliability issues.
• Develop proposals for plant improvements including design basis and preliminary estimates for capital projects.
• Analyze work orders and failure data to drive continuous improvement and safe, reliable operation.
