Job summary
ECC is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager in Guam. The ideal candidate will be a professional Mechanical Engineer with experience on federal government military building construction contracts.
The Quality Control Manager will be assigned to our Guam office location rather than to a specific project and will be the SME for mechanical quality control. In this position, you will: You will implement and oversee the Three-Phase Control Process, manage submittals, audit materials, prepare
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Licensed/Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer.
- Five years of quality control experience on large vertical construction projects.
- Ability to communicate in writing and orally with diplomacy and tact.
Responsibilities
- Ensure work complies with contract specs, codes and standards.
- Implement and promote the project quality control program on site.
- Test programs: evaluate, monitor and document results.
- Inspect materials and manage submittals to client on schedule.
- Author quality documents and maintain project portal records.
- Oversee corrective actions and stop-work decisions with team.
