Job summary

ITAC, a nationwide design-build firm, is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager in Lexington, VA to lead mechanical engineering, design, procurement and construction on complex capital projects.

You will develop execution plans, manage safety, budgets, and schedules, and coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure project success. ITAC offers ESOP, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities across six offices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• 5+ years of multidiscipline project management experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Check-out, commissioning, startup experience.
• Procore experience, preferred.
• Familiar with scheduling tools/techniques (MS Project and/or Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate RFQs, visit jobsites, prepare cost estimates and risks.
• Draft proposal letters, work scopes, schedules for bids.
• Identify in-house fabrication opportunities.
• Develop execution plans and schedules using ITAC methods.
• Coordinate EPC/CM and design-build projects with teams.
• Lead kickoff meetings, establish safety plans and roles.
• Provide project information and cost control to field teams.
• Drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.
