Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee multi-location commercial projects in the United States. You will lead planning, procurement, execution, and closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and quality.

The role requires a mechanical engineering/ Construction Science background, OSHA-30, and at least 5 years of project management experience in engineering or construction. Travel across data centers nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in engineering or construction.
• Strong understanding of industry practices, processes and standards for PM.
• Experience with cost control, scheduling, procurement and change orders.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage budgets.
• OSHA-30 certification and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle from initiation to closure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage resources including procurement of materials and services.
• Monitor progress and adjust to ensure successful completion.
• Manage project budgets, cost control and change orders.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with standards.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, OSHA-30 certified.
• Handle issues professionally and diplomatically in stressful situations.
• Utilize MS Office and other software to manage projects and communicate with the team.
