Job summary

Okland Construction is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex mechanical scopes on large-scale projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will partner with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in mechanical-heavy environments, strong reading of drawings/specs, and experience managing budgets, procurement, and schedules on industrial,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, engineering, or related field, or equivalent construction experience.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, advanced manufacturing, or similarly complex construction environments.
• 5+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects or significant mechanical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical scopes from preconstruction through project closeout, focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural and other building scopes.
• Manage procurement, installation, startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical subcontractors and vendors.
