Job summary

Polk Mechanical Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact mechanical construction projects in Grand Prairie, TX. You will direct planning, execution, and delivery, securing subcontracts, managing costs, and ensuring top-quality results.

You will coordinate with superintendents, review estimates, and manage schedules and change orders while building lasting client relationships for future opportunities. On-site daily presence is expected, with potential after-hours support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects (renovation a plus).
• Strong negotiation and change-order delivery skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, and specs.
• Willingness to be on-site daily with after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management direction for assigned projects.
• Procure equipment and subcontracts to support project execution.
• Monitor job costs, maintain accurate forecasts, and ensure timely billing and scheduling.
• Partner with Superintendents to oversee daily field operations and ensure productivity.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships to foster communication and secure future opportunities.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
