Job summary

Stellar, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead design, construction, and commissioning of self-performed mechanical projects including plumbing, HVAC, and piping systems.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and deep knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, with experience directing diverse field teams to deliver projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• 7+ years of self-performed mechanical project management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of designated projects to meet goals on time and within budget
• Buyout of subcontracts and materials for plumbing, HVAC, and piping systems
• Prepare and update project schedules with site leadership
• Analyze labor productivity and project efficiency; produce reports
• Manage change orders and monthly cost projections/invoices
• Ensure quality, safety, commissioning, and close-out documents are completed
