Job summary

Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer on the Lower East Side with a hybrid schedule. This role targets engineers with 6–10 years of project leadership experience.

You will design HVAC systems for commercial and industrial facilities, coordinate across disciplines, mentor design teams, support client engagement, and contribute to a broad portfolio of high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 6–10 years of project experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Experience designing commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including load calculations.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred.
• Ability to lead engineering design teams and coordinate deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and integration of engineering activities across a project lifecycle.
• Develop engineering designs and manage changes to documents and specs.
• Support client engagement and coordinate with other disciplines for integrated designs.
• Design HVAC systems for multiple facility types and mentor design teams.
