Job summary

Epstein is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our MEP engineering team on a hybrid schedule in the Lower East Side, NY. The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of project leadership experience and will lead design teams, coordinate complex projects, and deliver high-quality HVAC solutions across commercial, institutional, educational, hospitality, and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6–10 years of successful project experience in a consulting engineering setting.
• Experience designing commercial/industrial HVAC systems, including HVAC load calculations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering design teams and coordinate project deliverables.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary coordination and relevant codes (IMC, Chicago Mechanical Code, ASHRAE).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and integrate engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Lead design teams and manage project deliverables.
• Develop engineering designs and coordinate changes to documents and specifications.
• Support client engagement and coordination with other disciplines to deliver integrated HVAC solutions.
