Qualifications

• 7 years of mechanical design or engineering experience in custom machinery.
• Strong hands-on CAD experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo.
• Experience designing mechanical assemblies and automated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T drawings and specs.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical ownership.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical projects from concept through design, assembly, testing, and completion.
• Remain actively involved in mechanical design reviews and problem-solving.
• Develop and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, controls, manufacturing personnel, and machine builders.
• Translate customer specifications into practical, reliable mechanical solutions.
• Identify and resolve design issues involving tolerances and manufacturability.
• Support equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and startup activities.
• Coordinate engineering changes and provide technical direction.
• Ensure projects meet specifications, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Provide guidance to engineering team members when needed.
