Job summary

HDR is seeking a qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding Power Generation team. Located in Pennington, NJ, the engineer will lead teams in designing and implementing energy projects, including natural gas and renewable sources.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in utility-scale power generation and a strong background in mechanical design. This includes the ability to deliver construction drawings and feasibility studies while maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in power generation design.
• Experience in gas turbine, steam turbine, and large reciprocating engines.
• Professional Engineers (PE or P.Eng) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project mechanical team and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor and communicate project status.
• Provide mechanical engineering support for design projects.
