Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is actively seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for commercial mechanical construction in the Twin Cities.

You will oversee projects from planning through completion with a focus on execution, budgets, safety, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has HVAC, sheet metal, ductwork, or plumbing experience, plus strong financial acumen and communication skills to lead diverse, multi-million dollar jobs and cultivate lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Commercial mechanical construction project management experience preferred.
• Background in HVAC, sheet metal, ductwork, or plumbing.
• Understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control and financial performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain customer relationships.
• Stable employment history with interest in long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, labor, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Monitor costs, project financials, and profitability.
• Coordinate with general contractors, customers, engineers, vendors, and field personnel.
• Manage change orders, project documentation, and communications.
• Maintain relationships with established customers and project partners.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to specs.
