Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and change orders; coordinating owners, GCs, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors; and ensuring safety, quality, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical construction experience.
• Proven experience managing large, complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and change orders.
• Lead project teams and coordinate owners, GCs, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and profitability goals are met.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project schedules.
• Track financial performance, forecasting, and cost control.
• Identify risks and proactively resolve project issues.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support commissioning, punch list, and final project turnover.
