Fire Safety First is seeking a Mechanical Plumbing Manager to lead the Mechanical Repair team in Southern California. The role focuses on service of water-based piping systems, including domestic piping, pumps, backflow devices, and related equipment, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and coordinate repairs while ensuring compliance with codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree, preferred.
• 13+ years of experience in the plumbing field.
• Knowledge of UPC and Backflow Device requirements.
• Safety training specific to the role.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Mechanical Repair department and maintains a detailed schedule of maintenance repairs, prioritizing service calls.
• Directs the activities of the Mechanical Technicians and ensures team goals and licenses are up to date.
• Exhibits strong knowledge of commercial and residential plumbing systems, installation, and repair, with problem-solving focus.
• Estimates and sells system service and maintenance repairs.
• Performs departmental financial analysis, budgeting, invoicing, and reconciliation using the company CRM.
