Job summary

JCM Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical and plumbing construction projects in the MD, VA, and DC area.

You will own the full project lifecycle from buyout through closeout, directing field teams and coordinating with clients, owners, and subcontractors. The role emphasizes on-site leadership, robust procurement, cost control, and BIM coordination to deliver high-value facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical and/or plumbing systems.
• Field or trade background is a significant advantage for PMs.
• Prior GC experience is valued when paired with MEP ownership and procurement exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead project buyout, scope packages, vendor selection, purchase orders, and subcontract awards.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, changes, and closeout documentation with full technical ownership.
• Lead change order pricing, submission, and tracking to protect budgets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; own budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Coordinate BIM, prefabrication, and on-site field coordination to ensure clash-free installation.
