Job summary

Sira Consulting seeks a Mechanical & Project Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in Chemical or FMCG industries. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical and piping systems for process plants, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements.

You will also provide on-site field support, coordinate with vendors, and troubleshoot during installation and commissioning, working closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Chemical or FMCG industries.
• Experience designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical and piping systems for process plants.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and piping layouts, select equipment, and prepare supporting structures.
• Review P&IDs and GA drawings to ensure correct equipment and piping selections.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, instrumentation, and civil engineers for integrated design.
• Prepare BOQs and procurement specifications; provide on-site support during installation and commissioning.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors; review proposals and participate in FAT/site tests.
