Clear Destination Inc. seeks a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You will work independently and with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation of production lines. This role requires strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a mechanical maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergency callouts when required.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery as needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Replace or repair defective components, such as bearings, gears, motors, and pumps.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members, engineers, and production staff to improve equipment efficiency.
• Maintain accurate detailed records of maintenance work performed.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
