Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Sr. 2 Mechanical Technician to support extrusion and printing processes.

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and learn process operations alongside Operators. Strong safety mindset and ability to communicate across shifts are essential. The role requires familiarity with wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and basic welding/machining skills; willingness to work non-standard hours and travel as needed

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery.
Experience interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
Capable of programming drives and understanding PLC logic.
Basic welding and machining skills.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work non-standard hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical/mechanical equipment failures.
Perform major repairs using hand and pneumatic tools, welder, grinder, drill press.
Test equipment to ensure proper operation.
Learn extrusion and printing press processes with Operators.
Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Replace electrical components and adjust motors and controllers.
Work across departments and adapt to additional duties as assigned.
