Sigma Defense LLC is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Lead to oversee and execute maintenance on complex air‑cushion, aircraft, and shipboard systems. You will lead technicians, ensure adherence to procedures, safety standards, and thorough documentation.

The role requires strong leadership, hands‑on mechanical expertise, and the ability to enforce quality controls using 3‑M and industry standards, while coordinating repair activities in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Lead daily mechanical maintenance for air-cushion vehicles and aircraft systems.
• Supervise technicians ensuring safety, accuracy, and procedures.
• Train staff on 3-M compliance and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation and records with precision.
• Perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 standards.
• Maintain safety and hazard controls on worksites.
• Mentor junior technicians and support certification tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily execution of maintenance and repair on air-cushion systems.
• Supervise maintenance technicians ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Assign tasks and provide technical direction.
• Conduct corrective and preventative maintenance and inspections.
