Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Lead to oversee and execute maintenance on aircushion vehicles, aircraft, and naval systems. You will lead hands-on teams, ensure safety, quality, and documentation, and maintain readiness for complex platforms.

The role is contingent on contract award; candidates must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain an active Secret clearance. Strong leadership, communication, and 3M maintenance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in maintenance, repair, or modification of aircushion/shipboard mechanical systems.
• Experience supervising mechanical maintenance teams.
• Strong background in mechanical systems, maintenance, and operational restoration.
• Ability to enforce quality control measures and training for 3M compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for aircushion vehicles and related systems.
• Supervise technicians, ensure technical accuracy, safety, and procedures.
• Assign tasks, provide direction, monitor performance, and ensure efficient maintenance actions.
• Oversee corrective/preventative maintenance, inspections, alignments, and tests.
• Diagnose issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain thorough maintenance documentation and compliance records.
• Train personnel on 3M tools, forms, and reporting processes.
