Job summary

FWG Solutions, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance, repair, and modification on complex systems including air‑cushion vehicles and naval equipment.

You will provide hands‑on technical leadership, ensure safety, quality, and documentation standards, and coordinate a team of technicians. The role requires active Secret clearance, 5+ years of experience, mastery of Navy 3‑M, and knowledge of J‑STD‑001, IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑A‑620.

Qualifications

• High School Degree required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Five or more years maintaining air‑cushion/shipboard mechanical systems.
• Strong leadership and supervision experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with J‑STD‑001, IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑A‑620, NAVSEA Welding Certification standards and NDT methods.
• Experience with Navy 3‑M Preventative Maintenance Program and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive quality control programs for maintenance, repair, and modification activities.
• Lead daily maintenance execution for air‑cushion vehicles, aircraft systems, or shipboard mechanical equipment.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring accuracy and safe work practices.
• Assign tasks, provide technical direction, and ensure maintenance actions are performed correctly.
• Conduct corrective and preventative maintenance, inspections, and tests.
