Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead engineering, design and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment for an LNG facility in Plaquemines. You will report to the Director of Engineering and guide project teams through all design phases.

The role emphasizes adherence to codes, safety standards, and efficient execution across multiple projects, with strong collaboration across disciplines and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years on capital projects from feasibility through construction.
• Minimum of 3 years in a Mechanical Lead role, supervising a team of Mechanical Engineers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineer on mechanical projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, codes and HSSE requirements.
• Develop mechanical equipment calculations, specifications and data sheets for inquiry and purchase; review and transmit docs.
