Venture Global LNG seeks a Manager, Engineering in Plaquemines, LA. The role focuses on leading process engineering for LNG facilities, with emphasis on Feed Gas, Pre-Treatment, Liquefaction, Refrigeration, and loading/BOG systems.

The successful candidate will oversee operations-related design, support plant startups, and drive process optimization, safety, and cost evaluations. Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum five years’ experience in an engineering role in an industrial setting, oil/gas preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support the Ready for Operations schedule as the facility transitions from EPC to operations.
• Provide daily technical support to plant personnel for process issues using fundamentals of fluid flow, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and hydrocarbon chemistry.
• Develop/process-monitoring tools to track efficiency and propose improvements.
• Create and maintain Operations and Engineering procedures for CP facility operations and modes.
• Support plant shutdowns/turnarounds with process engineering input.
• Perform economic evaluations focusing on equipment availability and life-cycle costs.
• Assist in process improvement studies, audits, safety reviews, and analyses.
• Develop process simulations for unit operations and update models.
