Williams Companies is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist in Mead, CO to resolve complex data-driven issues and lead cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should have strong leadership, training and project-planning skills, with safety as a core priority.

The role requires an associates degree or equivalent with 6+ years in oil & gas, preferably a Bachelor’s in engineering, plus API 510/570 certifications and experience in mechanical integrity and inspection planning.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent and minimum six years in oil & gas.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field preferred with 10 years experience.
• Current API 510 and API 570 certifications.
• Experience in Mechanical Integrity, inspection planning, risk-based decision making, and asset integrity management.
• Ability to read and evaluate engineering design documents, contracts and agreements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately difficult assignments to ensure system integrity, support pipeline operations, maintain compliance and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoots/resolves sophisticated problems using technical evaluation, innovation and judgment.
• Develops, presents and trains internal and external partners; may mentor others.
• Participates in project planning and works closely with company partners.
• Leads development and tasks associated with operations, equipment maintenance, technical standards and governmental requirements.
• Reads, understands and evaluates engineering design documents, contracts and agreements.
• Other duties as assigned.
