Job summary

NYCHA is seeking a Supervisor of Mechanical Installations and Maintenance to oversee the inspection, troubleshooting, installation, repair, and renovation of FOMS systems citywide. The role includes preparing and reviewing Maximo Work Orders, coordinating with IT departments, and ensuring timely remedial actions.

The position requires supervising a team of 3 maintenance workers and 3 city laborers, coordinating with NYCHA departments and vendors, and managing material orders and service

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma or educational equivalent and 4 years of full-time experience in installation, repair, and inspection of mechanical equipment in buildings or facilities.
• Experience in large facilities (>=100,000 sq ft or >=3 stories) preferred.
• Alternative combination of education and experience acceptable with specific building size criteria.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection, troubleshooting, installation, repair and renovation of FOMS systems citywide.
• Prepare, close, and review Maximo Work Orders and work orders for IT Departments.
