Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer- Mechanical HVAC for wastewater and water infrastructure projects. The role focuses on design of wastewater treatment systems, water networks, and mechanical equipment sizing, with leadership of junior staff and CAD technicians.

Qualifications

• B.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in wastewater/water industry.
• Professional registration or licensure in home office country or pursuing it.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components of wastewater treatment systems (ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, digesters, sludge handling).
• Size and select wastewater/water equipment (Screens, Mixers, Conveyors, Centrifuges, dosing systems).
• Prepare hydraulic calculations; pump and fan sizing/selection.
• Develop concept to construction documentation and supervise CAD work.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and mentor junior staff.
