Matrix Technologies, Inc. in Westminster, Colorado seeks a Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer to lead design projects, oversee HVAC/ plumbing systems, and mentor staff. The role requires a PE license, strong client communication, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across projects.

You will drive technical quality, develop design standards, and interact with clients and vendors to deliver compliant, safe, and efficient systems while adhering to budgets and schedules.

Formación

• Active Professional Engineering License is required.
• Six+ years of Mechanical Engineer-HVAC or equivalent experience.
• Six+ years in Commercial/Industrial HVAC and plumbing design consulting.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE code for cooling and ventilation.
• Travel up to 10% per year.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to HVAC and plumbing system design projects.
• Lead multi-discipline teams on new or existing buildings.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and contractors for design and construction.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system optimization.
• Ensure compliance with local design codes and permitting offices.
• Prepare drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
• Mentor project personnel and manage budgets/schedules.
