We are seeking an experienced Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in high-end and passive residential projects, including apartments, townhouses, and custom homes. A P.E. license is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform HVAC load calculations, including ResCheck and Manual J energy code compliance analyses.
• Participate in schematic design and design development phases with proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Conduct existing conditions site surveys and provide construction administration support.
• Manage projects remotely, perform weekly site inspections in the New York Metro Area.
• Ensure designs comply with NYC and NYS Building and Energy Codes.

Qualifications:

• NYS PE License.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 10 years experience in residential design.
• Located in or near the New York City Metropolitan Area.
• Strong knowledge of New York State and New York City codes.
• Ideal candidates will also have working knowledge of plumbing, sprinkler, and electrical systems.
