Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to oversee daily mechanical construction activities, including scheduling, equipment delivery, and project progress at the job site. You will read prints, perform take-offs for piping, steel, and civil work, and lead a crew in installation, maintenance, and repairs.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on welding skills (SMAW/GTAW), ability to manage manpower under tight deadlines, enforce OSHA safety, and adapt to varying weather.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are required.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their applications is expected.
• Proven ability to read prints and perform take-offs for piping, steel and civil work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily pipe fitting, welding, and light mechanical/rigging activities.
• Assess workforce, materials, tools, and equipment needs to support the project.
• Analyze productivity trends and adjust work to optimize production.
• Review cost reports and help manage job costs within the contract budget.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and Company Safety Program.
