Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator for our Menlo Park, CA office. The role coordinates with VP of Estimating and Senior Estimators to prepare conceptual and detailed estimates for HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, and Fire Protection, and to review bids for subcontractor awards.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years of mechanical estimating experience, strong communication, and proficiency with standard estimation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 12–15 years of experience in mechanical trades estimating.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual cost models/budgets for HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, and Fire Protection.
• Prepare detailed estimates as documents progress in design.
• Solicit, receive, and analyze bids from subcontractors; recommend awards.
