Job Description

Turner & Townsendare seeking an experiencedSeniorMechanical Estimatorwith Data Center Construction experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide detailed andaccuratecost estimates for mechanical systems in construction projects, ensuring effective cost management and project success.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed andaccuratecost estimates for mechanical systems in construction projects.
• Review project plans and specifications todeterminethe scopeof work and required materials.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive cost management plans.
• Analyze project requirements andprovidevalue engineering options.
• Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Utilize industry-specific estimating software and tools to prepare estimates.
• Provideestimating advice, guidance, and analysis to project stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific estimating processes and methodologies.
• Prepare formal estimating reports, including quantity, cost, escalation, and other assumptions and clarifications.
• Assistin the development of estimating standards and best practices.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, cost management, quantity surveying,engineeringor field related to construction.
• Prior Data Center Construction/Mission Critical or transferrableexperience needed.
• Minimum5-7years of relevant experience.
• Thrives in a client facing role.
• Experience supporting program level cost management for medium or large-scale construction projects.
• Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as value management and value engineering.

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is$130K - $165Kper year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
