The role includes site visits, cost tracking, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to secure competitive bids.

Applicants should have 5+ years of estimating experience in plumbing and HVAC, strong takeoff software skills, and a relevant engineering or construction management degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in plumbing and HVAC.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital takeoff software is required.
• Autobid experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred, or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the estimating team through the full bid lifecycle from review to award.
• Review takeoffs and estimates for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Conduct site visits and pre-bid meetings.
• Collaborate with vendors, subs, and internal teams to sharpen bids.
• Track actual costs against estimates and monitor market conditions.
• Continuously improve estimating standards, data, and procedures.
