Job summary

Teradyne in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager for Memory Test to lead architecture, development, integration, and lifecycle support of advanced memory test platforms.

You will direct mechanical, thermal, and interface design teams, set the technical roadmap, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver scalable, reliable, and cost-effective products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 15+ years of progressive experience in mechanical/electromechanical product development, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment or related hardware industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering managers and multidisciplinary teams; set priorities, accountability, and operating rhythms.
• Define long-range mechanical engineering strategy and roadmap aligned with product strategy and program commitments.
• Drive architecture reuse, modularity, and adoption of new materials and manufacturing technologies.
• Oversee load boards, probes, connectors, interconnects, and related mechanical interface work across platforms.
