Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Houston seeks a Mechanical Engineer to conduct engineering activities for Well Access products, design and sustain assets, and provide technical guidance to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions within budget and schedule.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop system engineering documents, perform safety and reliability analyses, and ensure compliance with industry standards while interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience with emphasis in product design/development.
• Experience with analytical and computational packages (FEM, CAD).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and/or sustain assets/products/kits with a focus on intervention equipment.
• Generate system engineering documents such as P&ID and FMECA.
• Provide operational support to resolve engineering issues.
• Interface with internal and external manufacturing shops to communicate design requirements.
