Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years mechanical, equipment design engineering experience for a medium to high volume product.
• Strong analytical skills to understand, analyze and improve measurement equipment accuracy, repeatability and reliability.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; CAD experience with SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy equipment to test, measure, and calibrate vision/optical imaging products.
• Develop and improve test/calibration equipment for high-performance endoscopes and related devices.
• Work with cross-functional teams (product development, test software, process development) to meet mechanical requirements.
• Create equipment specifications, validation protocols, assembly instructions, and calibration documentation.
• Analyze, debug and root-cause measurement accuracy and reliability issues in equipment.
• Project manage equipment development initiatives coordinating with manufacturing and software teams.
