Pride Global is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Fremont, CA to design, develop, and support complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for advanced manufacturing equipment. You will lead mechanical design from concept through production, perform analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of mechanical design and product development experience.
• Experience with vacuum systems and high-voltage assemblies.
• Proficient in Siemens NX or equivalent CAD software.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and tolerance analysis skills.
• Experience releasing parts into production.
• FMEA and risk assessment experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Own mechanical designs throughout the product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Perform thermal, structural, stress, vibration, and tolerance analyses.
• Design and support vacuum systems and high-voltage assemblies.
• Lead design reviews and prepare technical reports and specs.
• Conduct RCCA and other engineering risk assessments.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure GD&T compliance and industry drafting standards.
