Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in North Reading, MA, to design and develop advanced industrial equipment for System Level Test applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, over 10 years of experience in machine design, and expertise in SolidWorks. The position offers a competitive salary range of $153,600 to $245,900, with additional health benefits. Only local candidates will be considered, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in machine design; experience with System Level test preferred.
• Deep expertise in FEA, tolerancing, actuators, bearings, sensors, materials, and drawings.
• High proficiency in PDM, ERP/MRP, and enterprise engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated industrial equipment and systems for SLT applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.
• Engage with suppliers and global manufacturing partners.
