The role emphasizes robust mechanical design, safety compliance, and manufacturability, with collaboration across engineering and product teams.

The position requires 6+ years in structural design and hands-on experience with stress analysis (hand calculations & FEA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• 6+ years of structural design experience.
• 4+ years of stress analysis experience (hand calculations & FEA).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop critical structures for portable nuclear microreactors, including shielding and high-temperature systems.
• Perform thermomechanical and dynamic analyses.
• Manage BOMs and oversee subassembly manufacturing and testing.
