Beyond Reach Labs, Inc. is designing the largest deployable structures for space. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will design, analyze, and validate mechanical systems and actuators for deployable structures used on satellites and related spacecraft.

You will lead development from requirements through qualification, run trade studies, and mentor junior engineers while advancing manufacturability and reliability of new mechanisms.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering required.
• 4+ years in hands-on roles with satellite/launch mechanisms.
• Led design-to-qualification for at least one spaceflight mechanism.
• Experience with stepper/BLDC motors, springs, HDRMs.
• Proficient in CAD modeling and production drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Own mechanism subsystems from requirements through flight qualification.
• Lead trade studies and apply First Principles analyses.
• Create CAD models, select materials, assemblies, test methods.
• Perform static, dynamic, thermal, fatigue analyses to ensure margins.
• Develop test plans, lead anomaly investigations, and reviews.
• Produce design packages with drawings, analyses, BOMs.
