Cellsense is seeking a hands-on Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to own production as we scale from prototype to pilot plant in New York. You will design, build, and optimize hardware and automated deposition systems, collaborating closely with the founder to deploy next-generation production capabilities.

You will source components, prototype with machining/3D printing/laser cutting, and drive cross-disciplinary product development while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience from concept to completion.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and troubleshooting physical systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
• Familiarity with prototyping methods such as machining, 3D printing, and laser cutting.
• Experience with manufacturing processes or automation is a strong plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated problem-solver who thrives in a startup environment.

Aufgaben

• Design and iterate on hardware necessary for Cellsense to scale production.
• Build and optimize automated material deposition systems.
• Customize molds for diverse customer use cases. Source components and work with suppliers to manage parts and lead times.
• Work across disciplines to help develop exciting new products.
• Own and develop engineering at Cellsense.
