Job summary

Cellsense in Brooklyn, NY seeks a hands-on engineer to own production as we scale, taking systems from prototype to pilot plant and building the tools to meet growing demand from brand partners.

You’ll collaborate closely with the founder, develop and deploy Cellsense's next-generation production capabilities, and help drive meaningful environmental impact in a small team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience taking projects from concept to completion.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, troubleshooting physical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate hardware to scale production.
• Build and optimize automated material deposition systems.
• Customize molds; source components and manage lead times.
• Collaborate across disciplines to develop new products.
• Own and develop engineering at Cellsense.
