Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to apply engineering physics, mathematics, and materials science to hardware design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems.

You will mentor and supervise team members, lead a functional task team, and collaborate with an integrated product team across multiple manufacturing methods, including additive techniques. A Secret clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hardware design, analysis, and prototyping (including DFMA).
• 3D modeling experience using SolidWorks.
• Experience leading a functional task team within an integrated product team.
• Experience with multiple manufacturing technologies, including subtractive and additive methods.
• Design for manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Product ruggedization for extreme environments.
• Knowledge of materials science, GD&T, mechanics of materials, statics, kinematics, and thermodynamics.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
