Job summary

Echodyne seeks a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to advance electro-mechanical radar products. You will lead mechanical design with emphasis on thermal, electrical and environmental considerations, and guide RF/microwave teams to feasible production solutions.

Proficient SolidWorks usage and strong GD&T expertise are essential, with experience in RF isolation, packaging, and manufacturability for X-band or higher modules a plus.

Qualifications

• Senior-engineer level experience in mechanical engineering design for electro-mechanical products, with deep understanding of thermal, electrical, and environmental considerations.
• Knowledge of the mechanical considerations of PCB design and PCB packaging.
• Ability to advise RF, Microwave, Digital & Antenna engineering teams on constraints (mechanical, environmental, thermal) & work to a production solution.
• Advanced-to-expert level user of Solidworks.
• Knowledge in implementing, interpreting and explaining ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
• Knowledge in hand and computational analysis for modal, stress and thermal considerations.
