The role requires a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks (2018+) and experience with CNC machining, sheet metal, and tight-tolerance components. This is a remote-friendly, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of experience in engineering.
• Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and tight tolerance components.
• Proficient CAD/3D modeling using SolidWorks 2018 or newer.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design, FEA, testing and documentation for new products.
• Create designs with SolidWorks, validate with FEA, and draft documentation for product releases.
• Identify materials, define test plans, and guide production release in PDM system.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to develop production processes for new and existing products.
• Support manufacturing to ensure products meet requirements and customer expectations.
